Decorate a Heart

Join us for a heartwarming, family-friendly craft event in our historic schoolhouse! Decorate your own quilted heart to take home and share with the community as part of the I Found a Quilted Heart project. Each heart becomes a small token of kindness waiting to brighten someone’s day.

I Found a Quilted Heart (IFAQH) is a community of volunteers who anonymously create and place small quilted hearts around the globe to put a smile on someone's face. It began in January 2014 when the founders - The Three Sisters - were vacationing with family in Nevada. They found a heart near a remote cave with a tag that said, "I need a home." They decided that they should pass this joy forward and started sewing hearts. They took day trips and left hearts in public places for random strangers to find.
