Do you or any families you know qualify for South Carolina's Education Scholarship Trust Fund? The answer is yes if:
They are a resident of South Carolina
The child is at least age 5 on or before September 1, 2026 and no older than 22 and in K-12
They have a household income that does not exceed 500% of the federal poverty guidelines (for example: a family of 4 could not make more than $160,750.00)
There is also a helpful tool at
https://sc-estf-program.com/sc-pre-qual-tool which will help you determine eligibility for the $7500 per year educational funding.
Crown is hosting an important information session to help parents understand the Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESTF) program in South Carolina. This program provides state scholarship funds that families can use for K–12 education expenses, including private school tuition.
We're honored to host Teshia McIver, Palmetto Promises' ESTF Coordinator, to explain how the program works, who qualifies, what expenses are covered, and how to get ready for the upcoming application window opening January 15.
