- **Event Description**: Join artist Deborah Clark and retired therapist Bobbi Vogelsang for this meaningful and therapeutic art journaling workshop.  Deborah and Bobbi will guide participants in using creativity to process, express, and voice difficult feelings through art journaling. You’ll learn prompts and artistic techniques for channeling challenging images, thoughts, and feelings into art. This process is helpful for overcoming trauma, healing from difficult situations, and creating a healthy outlet to move forward.  

Students will use upcycled books to create their journal and explore a variety of media to translate memories, images, and feelings into art.  All supplies are provided-just bring an open mind!

This workshop will be held from 1-4 pm on Saturday, June 13, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.

Recommended age: 16 and up
