Author event with JOCELYN JANE COX and MAGGIE GINSBERG at Brix

Jocelyn Jane Cox will be at Brix on Sunday night November 23, 6-7:30pm to share from her book, Motion Dazzle: A Memoir of Motherhood, Loss, and Skating on Thin Ice. She will be in conversation with fellow Mt. Horeb native and author Maggie Ginsberg, author of the novel Still True. Motion Dazzle follows Jocelyn’s journey from skating on the rink on Mt. Horeb’s Garfield Avenue to training, competing and performing with her brother Brad all over the country. When she was caring for her mother Barbara through dementia while also caring for her young son (and throwing him a zebra-themed first birthday party) she drew upon the strengths she learned on the ice.
