Come and experience the magic of rail travel as we wind through the stunning Mount Lofty Ranges. It’s the perfect day out for train buffs, families, and anyone looking to escape the everyday.

Highlanders will operate most Sundays, starting from March 29th and through to November 29th. There will also be additional operating date during the April School Holidays on Friday the 17th and 24th.

Departing Mount Baker at 9:30am and 2pm and Strathalbyn at 11:30am and 4pm.
Please note that the last Strathalbyn departure is a one way trip and will not return.

Steam engines will haul trains between June 7th and November 1st* during the cooler months while our heritage diesels will haul the trains during the warmer months of March, April, May and November.
