From the Ground Up: Foundations of Riding

Strong, effective riding begins before you even get in the saddle. This clinic will guide participants through the essential building blocks of horsemanship, starting with groundwork to develop connection, respect, communication, and body control. Riders will also learn pre-ride safety checks to set both horse and rider up for success, before progressing to ridden exercises that refine balance, feel, and responsiveness.
Whether you ride English, Western, or simply for pleasure, this clinic offers practical skills that apply across all disciplines. By focusing on clear communication and confident foundations, you’ll leave with tools to strengthen your partnership and move closer to achieving your riding goals.

Cost: $250/day ($100 deposit to secure your position)
Format: small groups (1.5 hours in the morning + 1.5 hours in afternoon)
