BOOMERANG BAGS is a global grassroots community-driven movement of volunteers, tackling plastic pollution at its source.  
We make reusable, fabulously funky & cool, shopping bags from donated & pre-loved recycled fabrics. 
Cost: $7

What to bring: sewing machine (trolley & spare sewing machines avail to use) Any clean  colourful cotton/polyester fabric, ready for recycling (duna covers, pillow cases, sheets, raid Granny's fabric cut offs) taking up space in your cupboards.

Public transport is available & plenty of free car parking.
