The instructor takes you through exercise routines set to various music. Moving your body through the water creates a resistance that activates muscle groups providing strength-training and having very little or no impact on the joints. The workouts can be altered to make them harder or easier in order to fit your needs Class variations: Shallow Water - takes place in the shallow end of the pool; Deep Water - takes place in the deep end of the pool with assistance of flotation devices; Mixed/Combination - can take place in any part of the pool. Shallow Water and Mixed/Combination Class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels; Deep Water classes recommend having some comfort in the water even if you rely heavily on the buoyant water belt and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. (If you don't know how to do the exercises please ask). There must be a minimum of 4 people in each class to have a class. The maximum is now set to 20 I am hoping this helps everyone join in. Water Aerobics Per Class prices are $8.00 for a single class, a 5 Class Card is $35.00, and an 18 Class Card is $108.00(passes bought on or after June 1, 2025 will be good until May 31, 2026). PAYMENT FOR THESE EVENTS IS IN PERSON ONLY. ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE CASH OR CHECK. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS.
