This MexVentures trek explores Malta’s hidden countryside as we trek from Burmarrad, through the scenic Wied Qannotta, up to Wardija and the surrounding hills. Expect peaceful valleys, rugged trails, traditional farmland, and stunning panoramic views along the way.

The loop back to Burmarrad combines valley paths, countryside trails, and breathtaking panoramas — a journey that captures the island’s wild spirit, natural contrasts, and timeless landscapes in one unforgettable hike.

✨ A perfect mix of challenge, nature, and adventure

Suitable for all trekking and hiking enthusiasts, trek is moderately hilly and requires basic fitness. Please make sure you are fit to trek on uneven trails for at least 2hrs.  

We will be meeting at St James Clinic / LIDL Burmarrad Parking at 8.30am sharp.

The trek is a circuit to our cars, after circa 2.5-3hrs.
