This will be our only event of the summer, and the only confirmed Ruby & Friends for this year, so we are making it special! Bigger Dance Area. Following recent renovations, Tortuga Terrace now offers a bigger and more comfortable open-space dance area, while still keeping the cosy seaside atmosphere that made it special in the first place. Guest Artists. Berlin’s Tantum and Korean Canadian artist Hyunji-A are the special guests for this Ruby&friends! A double bill that translates to quality! Together, they are behind KEEP MY LETTERS ; a club night in Berlin and a fresh label that is already starting to make waves in the underground scene. Their first outing “Keep My Letters”, sharing the same name as the imprint, instantly connected with people worldwide and helped define the identity of the project. TANTUM needs little introduction to followers of the underground progressive sound. With music released on respected labels such as Lost & Found, Sudbeat and Bedrock, and with a strong following in places like Argentina, his name continues to grow among the scene’s most trusted artists. HYUNJI-A, a musician, producer, vocalist and DJ, has also risen quickly with her emotional sound and distinctive presence. Her work has already reached important corners of the scene, while her voice and musical interpretation on “Keep My Letters” has made her stand out even further. Afters. After Tortuga, the journey continues with our Carry On Afters event at a special location, where we welcome another international guest: Tim Andresen from the legendary Culture Box club in Denmark, and label owner of the respected imprint What Happens.
