Coping with Stress: A Mindfulness Course
Life can be hard with the need for attention and concentration in exams, social expectations and emotional regulation in stressful times. One can find it hard to be positive and happy some times and easily end up snappy and angry in the midst of stress. This course is adapted just for older kids and teens, so in a small group we discuss and learn with a mindfulness in education trainer.
The autopilot mind, worry, react vs respond, gratitude are some topics we cover. Through interactive presentations, introduction to mindful meditation & ways to calm us down especially during stessful exam times will be tackled.
We learn so much at school but really our mental health is so important to make us stronger to face life with all it's challenges! This course is here so for this purpose.
