This is not a formal memorial. It is a weekend gathering just as Rico would have loved it—around a BBQ, under the stars, surrounded by friends, stories, laughter, and adventure.

One of the main aims of this event is to unite all 4x4 clubs, outdoor organisations, scouts, campers, hikers, overlanders, adventurers, and the wider community. Rico was someone who got along with everyone, regardless of the club or group they belonged to. We believe there is no better way to honour his memory than by bringing everyone together as one community.

Throughout the weekend there will be:

❤️ Fundraising in Rico's Memory

Whether you knew Rico personally or not, if you share a love for the outdoors, you're welcome to join us. Bring your tent, your chair, your family, your friends, and spend a weekend celebrating friendship, community, and the adventurous spirit Rico lived by.

In Rico's memory, all funds raised during the weekend will be donated to the Mellieħa Scout Group. Rico devoted a great deal of his time to the Scouts and was always there whenever help was needed. The donation will support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Fortizza Campsite—a place that reflects the outdoor spirit he loved so much and can continue to be enjoyed by future generations of scouts, outdoor enthusiasts, families, and community groups.

Join us and lets party together as one outdoor community, celebrating a friend who touched so many lives.
