The History and Archaeology of the Bible - Online series

In this online video series the author examines some of the major historical happenings that have affected Israel and have relevance in the life and times of Jesus. Frequent reference is made to archaeological finds that were made in the region. The sessions will start with a 30 minute video lecture followed by discussion. The following topics will be viewed and discussed: The Empire of Alexander the Great / Judea in the Early Roman Empire / The Kingdom of Herod the Great / The World of the Gospels /The Birth of Jesus / Young Jesus / Jesus and John the Baptist / The Ministry of Jesus / The Passover Events in Jerusalem / The Rise of Christianity.

The online sessions will be delivered in English.
