Emmaus Teddy Bears' Picnic

You’re invited to our Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Emmaus Mossley to cele-bear-ate our mascot Bear’s birthday!

Bring your favourite teddy and get together with your family and friends in the summer holidays to enjoy a fun afternoon of celebration, food and sweet treats.

This event is free to attend and in the style of ‘The Big Lunch’ – everyone is invited to bring some food or cakes to donate and share. The Big Lunch brings millions of people together to share friendship, food and fun as the UK’s annual celebration for neighbours and communities. It’s a simple idea that has a lasting positive impact on those who take part.

As Emmaus Mossley’s mascot, Bear has become a valued member of our community and brought smiles to those who see his updates on TikTok and Instagram. It’s time to celebrate Bear’s birthday and we want to bring the community together to enjoy lunch and share his big day.

The Emmaus Teddy Bears’ Picnic will take place on Thursday 31 July, 12pm-2pm, at Lucie’s Café within the Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore, Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley, OL5 9AH.
