Give your clothes a second life this National Recycling Week! Join Wingecarribee Shire Council for The Great Textile Drop-Off, a free community recycling event helping residents divert unwanted clothing and fabrics from landfill.
Bring your clean, reusable textiles to the Resource Recovery Centre, 177 Berrima Road, Moss Vale, on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025. No bookings are required just drive in via the weighbridge and follow the staff instructions. Drop off will be within the Community Recycling Centre building.
Accepted items:
✔️ Clean clothing
✔️ Shoes, belts, hats and bags
✔️ Linen, towels, curtains and other soft fabrics
Not accepted:
🚫 Soiled or wet items
🚫 Doonas, pillows, foam or mattresses
🚫 Suitcases or hard case bags
All textiles collected will be processed through RRR Australia as part of a regional recycling initiative coordinated by the Canberra Region Joint Organisation (CRJO). These materials are sorted for reuse, repurposing or recycling, giving every fabric a second chance.
