Household Chemical CleanOut

The Household Chemical Clean-Out event is held once a year and allows residents to safely drop off unwanted household chemicals free of charge, including cleaners, garden chemicals, paints and batteries. Due to increased participation and wait times experienced last year, we have expanded capacity to help reduce queues and improve service times.

- Traffic flow has been redesigned with updated entry point and a total of 4 servicing lanes (previously 2)
- Additional dedicated staff will be onsite to support a faster and more efficient service

KNOW YOUR LIMITS

This service accepts household quantities only. Trailer loads or bulk chemical volumes will not be accepted. Please follow the limits below.

Paint – up to 100L (in 20L containers)
Batteries – up to 10kg
Other household waste – up to 20L or 20kg per waste type

This annual event is hosted by Council through the support of the Environment Levy and the NSW Environment Protection Agency (EPA).

This is a NSW EPA Waste Less, Recycle More initiative, funded from the Waste Levy.
