High school students ages 16-18, this free week-long certificate program is for you!
Applications are currently open for our 2025 FREE GRITS STEM week-long summer certificate program led by MSU Extension and Pascagoula River Audubon Center Associates! This opportunity allows students to learn and apply essential skills for projects such as coastal restoration and building living shorelines. They will gain and apply new found skills in various areas, including boat driving, drone operations, RTK GPS technology, plant identification, soldering, wave energy measurement, and so much more.
Additionally, participants can enjoy kayaking, island excursions, and insights into STEM careers. If you are interested in these activities and exploring STEM fields, this camp is perfect for you!
This is a great free program for students to gain important skills utilized in STEM careers and will be a great addition to a resume! Lunch will be provided each day. There are limited spots available, so make sure to apply before applications close.
