We would love for you to join us on Sunday the 22nd of February, when our beloved Farmpark will be open to the public for an awesome family fun day!
This event provides a special, one of a kind experience for friends and families alike to enjoy the amazing animals who call The Animal Ark home. 

This open day is being held at the request of many of our wonderful supporters who have quietly been working away on us behind the scenes. We are not reopening regularly to the general public at this time - this is a special event. 
Please help us spread the word by tagging and sharing this post as much as possible so that others who may have intended to visit get the chance to do so.  

ENTRY FEE: $15 per person for everyone aged 2 and above
$50 family pass - 2 adults & 2 children or 1 adult & 3 children

Eftpos, credit cards and cash accepted.
(Please note the banks do charge a surcharge for paywave & credit card payments). 

YOUR ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:
Access to the The Animal Ark Farmpark
One bag of animal feed pellets per person
Miniature fire-engine rides
Face painting
Bouncy castle fun
Miniature carnival kids games 
Use of our playground and picnic facilities 

Plus a tasty BBQ (including gluten free, vegetarian & vegan sausages) as well as cold drinks and iceblocks will be available for an additional $2 per item. 

PLEASE NOTE: closed toe shoes are compulsory, as are sensible farm-appropriate clothes. Crocs are not suitable, and neither are stillettos. Sorry �

If you are visiting with someone elderly and/or who struggles with mobility, please come straight to the counter instead of lining up & and will take care of you �

Our farm park is flat and suitable for all mobilities, however please note as our facility is grass-based (rather than paved paths) there is a high chance some mud (or poo) will end up on your tyres and footwear. It’s a hazard of being a farm! �

PLEASE NOTE: kindness and patience are compulsory! � 
If you think you will struggle with either of these things, our farmpark is not the place for you. There may be some waiting in line to enter which we will do our absolute best to mitigate, but obviously this is out of our control on the day. For example - if people ask us questions, we will NEVER be to busy to answer them. It’s about treating others as you’d like to be treated - so if you choose to visit us, please remember that. 

Times are tough out there for everyone right now, and sadly, we are no different here on the farm. The ongoing financial pressure of running a rescue sanctuary such as ours, coupled with ignorance, negativity & insensitivity from the general public have taken their toll on us - as they would on anybody else. The truth is, for everyone 10 wonderful visitors through the gates there is still always 1 keyboard warrior who seems determined to ruin it for everyone else. And unfortunately that 1 voice is always often louder than the other 10 preceding it.

Respectfully, we are just animal lovers doing our best to make a small difference one 4-legged friend at a time. So please - before anyone comments sarcastic or unnecessary things like “I thought you were closed down” or “this is the 75000th time you’ve reopened after closing” - just take a moment to think - 1) is it remotely helpful? 2) is it even necessary? and 3) does it actually affect you in ANY way at all whether we open or close?

For the last 4 and a half years, we have tried our very best to provide a fun filled, interactive and low-priced family friendly activity that appeals to all ages and is suitable for all mobilities. We have continued to operate through ongoing devastating weather events such as snow and flooding, health adversities like broken bones and chemotherapy and fullscale surgeries, and family sickness and bereavements such as miscarriages and even stillbirth.  Through all of these challenges, our animals have been the one thing that has kept us going & gave us a reason to get up each day.  Please rest assured whether the farmpark is open to the public or not, they will always continue to remain the highest priority for us. 

And as always - the hugest thanks, love and gratitude to everyone who has supported us both publicly and behind the scenes over the past 4 and a half years. We are so incredibly grateful for you all & we love you very much.
