- **Event Description**: I just heard this week that Operation Cover Up- Canterbury have just packed and baled up 30 bales to send to Auckland,  ready to go overseas.  Wow, what a massive effort.  I believe they pack a few times during the year.  People are so amazing in this country. 

Our packing is 20th-21st June at Fairfield community hall. Please drop off any woollen blankets or garments you can donate - new items and pure wool.  The hall opens from 10.30.  Not sure of the closing time.  I should have checked first.  

Please feel free to come and have a look at what we have been doing in our area - we love visitors.  Donations towards freight are very welcome, should you be able to contribute a little to help out. The costs for freight are exorbitant and 2 containers are sent from Auckland yearly.

Make yourself known to Margaret Larsen who has taken over the role of sending co-ordinator ( I think that is her official title - excuse me if this is slightly incorrect),  for Dunedin, Mosgiel, Balclutha and Naseby.
