There are seasons in nature. There are seasons in our lives. And there are seasons in our nervous systems. Seasons of Self is a restorative weekend retreat for those who feel stretched thin, emotionally fatigued, or quietly overwhelmed. When life becomes too much, many of us cope by checking out. We push through, brace, numb, or collapse without realizing it. Over time, we lose track of what we need.

This weekend offers a gentle return.

Through breath, movement, guided reflection, and creative expression, you’ll explore how your body responds to stress and how to recognize where you are in your own internal cycle of survival and recovery. Rather than fixing or forcing change, this retreat invites awareness. From that awareness, small, meaningful shifts become possible.
You’ll leave with practical tools for staying present when life feels heavy and a renewed sense that coming home to yourself can happen softly, one breath at a time.

What We’ll Explore
	Unwinding the Pattern
	Morning Workshop
So many of us carry invisible weight. The news. Our work. Our roles as caregivers, educators, partners, and protectors. The constant hum of responsibility.
In this workshop, we will gently name what has been held in the body and explore how ongoing stress shapes our posture, breath, and emotional patterns.

Together, we’ll explore:
The ways our bodies brace or collapse in response to repeated stress
How somatic awareness helps us recognize our current internal “season”
Breath and movement tools that help us stay with what is, rather than bypass or fix it
How to shift out of survival mode with compassion and curiosity
This is not about performance. It is about noticing.

	The Creative Body
	Afternoon Workshop
When we have been bracing for a long time, creativity often goes quiet.
The Creative Body is a gentle return to the body as a source of expression rather than productivity. Through guided, intuitive movement, we’ll explore what it means to soften, shake, gesture, or speak from the places that have gone still.

Using expressive tools such as:
Intuitive movement
Gesture and image
Reflective writing
Voice and embodied expression
You will be invited to reconnect with parts of yourself that have been waiting patiently to move again.
This session is spacious, invitational, and grounded. You are always in choice.

	The Weekend Experience
In addition to workshop sessions, Seasons of Self includes ample space for rest and integration.
Between sessions, you are invited to:
Soak in the hot tub
Warm up in the sauna
Lounge by the pool
Journal or read in quiet corners
Walk the property
Sit by the fire

Gentle morning movement sessions will be offered each day to support nervous system regulation and ease into the day.
This retreat is intentionally spacious. Integration matters as much as insight.

7:30 PM Evening Restorative Practice + Gentle breathwork and nervous system settling.

Saturday

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM Unwinding the Pattern Workshop

1:30 PM – 3:30 PM Free Time + Integration: Pool, sauna, rest, journaling, reflection.
