Joel is a seasoned composer, and educator with over 16 years of experience in the music industry. A graduate of Portland State University with a Bachelor of Music degree and the University of Nevada, Reno with a Master of Music Education degree, Joel has honed his craft through rigorous education and extensive performance experience.

His versatile musical talents span a wide range of genres, including classical, jazz, folk, rock, cumbia, and reggaetón. This eclectic repertoire allows Joel to bridge diverse musical worlds with ease, captivating audiences with his unique sound. Over the years, he has toured extensively across the United States and shared the stage with renowned national acts like The Dirty Revival, Hot Tea Cold, DTW, and The Reno Jazz Syndicate.

Whether as a solo artist or as part of various ensembles, Joel continues to push the boundaries of musical expression, engaging listeners with his deep passion for performance and his mastery of diverse musical styles.
