- **Event Description**: For 2026 we are going to be meeting monthly for a Family MTB Ride at our St. Charles County Indian Camp Creek Park. This will be a regular event, occurring on the First Tuesday of every month starting in May and going through October!

The ride will be roughly 4.5 miles in total, with 3.5 miles being in the woods on easy single track MTB trail, and then a nice easy 1 mile pavement ride back to the parking lot. There will be an optional 15min play stop at the playground during the pavement return ride.

The trail we will be riding is the easiest in the county, will cover basic flat dirt trail, the occasional root or stick, and 1 small creek crossing that can be walked if needed. We will take occasional stops to drink water and slap hi-fives! There will also be an easy loop back to lot, and bail out points available at 1 mile, 2 miles, and 3 miles essentially.

Everyone must wear a helmet, and come ready to ride on their own bike. Please bring water for all the riders in your car, bug spray recommended as the season goes.

The idea of this ride is to provide an opportunity to get your kids on bikes, in the woods, and riding real single track mountain bike trail. The ride is open to anyone who can ride a pedal bike without training wheels. Tiny riders (3 and under) are also welcome to join the ride with parents on a Macride or Shotgun saddle if you have them.

When you arrive, park in the first parking lot after the bridge after entering the park. It's easy to find, right by the first play ground. Park on the far side of the lot from the playground.
We will roll at 6pm. You must accompany any children you bring on the ride.

This will be a weather pending event, and we will use the St. Charles County Parks Rainout Line website to confirm trail conditions for the ride!
