Are you interested in trying ranch trail but unsure where to begin?
This beginner-friendly event is designed to introduce you to the obstacles in the ranch trail class.
You'll learn the key elements of ranch trail, including a special session on roping and the log drag! Bring your horse and learn how to properly and safely handle the rope, drag, and dally.
Join us on July 19th, 2025 at Redwood Stables in Morton, MN from 9am-4pm.
Cost: $150
$100 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot. Check or paypal accepted.
Stalls & Camping available for Friday night.

Saturday Schedule:
9:00 am: Introductions
9:00 am-Noon: Group 1- Roping & Log Drag. Group 2- Ranch Trail
Noon-1pm: Lunch break. Bring your own Lunch.
1:00 pm-4:00 pm: Group 1- Ranch Trail. Group 2- Roping & Log Drag
4:00pm: End of the day recap.
The ranch trail session includes how to work your horse properly through the following obstacles: bridge, gate, side passing over a pole and back throughs.
The roping & log drag session includes proper rope handling, roping the bale on the ground, dragging and dallying.
