Sourdough Basics Class

What should you expect? You'll enjoy a lovely slice of fresh sourdough so you know what to look forward to. I will send you home with a starter in a mason jar that you have fed yourself! We will go over the differences between an active starter and a non-active starter. You will learn how to mix a loaf, (you will take home your dough with a reusable bowl), complete stretch & folds, and go over the shaping steps. I will provide you a printed copy of MY recipe with instructions as well as my basic feeding facts sheet. You will leave equipped with the knowledge you need to maintain your starter and how to make original loaf start to finish. This session will last approximately 1.5 hours depending on the group size and questions. I can't wait to meet you and talk sourdough together!
