NEW Location:  EAA 1494 Aviation Learning Center/Hangar

We hope you can join us at the Morristown Airport in the NEW EAA 1494 Aviation Learning Center for our monthly chapter gathering.  It's always a fun  evening and an opportunity to connect with a wide variety of aviation enthusiasts.

All are welcome! You don't need to be a chapter member, or even an EAA member to attend.

We'll start the gathering with hangar talk and a shared casual meal (most likely pizza), followed by talking about recent airport/chapter and chapter member activities and details about upcoming airport and chapter events. We'll hear updates on our major projects: the RV-12iS Youth Build, establishing a local flying club and the Aviation Learning Center. 

This month's program is going to be a treat with Jim Brown as our speaker.  Jim Brown and Carolyn Lause are chapter members who make their homes in Leesburg, FL and are at home as EAA 1494 chapter members here in Morristown.  When you have a chance to linger on the EAA 1494 Learning Center front porch, think of them, as the comfy glider and swivel chair are a generous gift from the two.  

Captain Jim Brown grew up in the Tri Cities area, learning to fly at a young age.  His talk will be a first person adventure through airport history in the Tri Cities area in the late 50's and early 60's, as well as the story of his journey working his way up the ladder from Line Boy to his Airline Career.  It's an adventure you will definitely want to hear more about!  

We hope to see you at the chapter gathering on Thursday the 2nd!
