- **Event Description**: As we all look forward to spring and the new growing season, LSP would like to invite you to the 2026 Food Forum. The event will be Monday, February 23 at Oyate Hall on the campus of the University of Minnesota-Morris (600 E. 4th St., Morris, MN 56267).

This year's food forum will feature a Farm-to-Kids Roadshow from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., a light lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and a local foods panel discussion and community-led breakouts from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pre-registration for this free event is encouraged.

This year marks the 4th year that this event has brought together farmers and local food advocates to network, collaborate on new ideas and hear from those who have met the challenges in creating a sustainable food system in our region. 

 This year’s Forum will feature an afternoon panel discussion on the Pride of the Prairie Farm to School Network highlighting areas for future collaboration. Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to choose breakout sessions that include topics such as:

Farm to Kids
Immigration and the Food System
Climate Resiliency Planning and Innovations
Regional Food Coordination
Food Rx for Community Health

We encourage you to join us after the Food Forum to take part in the Morris Community Meal starting at 5 p.m. held at nearby Faith Lutheran Church (108 West 8th Street, Morris, MN, about a mile and a half from Oyate Hall).
