If golf is your thing, we are hosting a golf outing at Nettle Creek on Monday, June 23 to help us hit the goal of raising $50,000 for our local communities.
When: Monday, June 23, 2025 5 pm
Where: Nettle Creek ‘The Creek’, 5355 N. Saratoga Road, Morris
What: Golf 9 holes on Monday June 23 and enjoy a delicious dinner at The Village Christian Church, 8965 South Bell Road, Minooka Friday, June 20 at 6:30 PM and hear about the plans to help our local communities. There will be a silent auction during dinner as well.
Cost: 9 holes of golf (June 23) and banquet dinner (on June 20) $75/person.
Here’s a breakdown of where that money will go:
1. Feed our struggling neighbors with mobile food pantries (20).
2. Provide back to school clothes and shoes for 400-500 local kids.
3. Dance The Night Away Prom to honor 150 guests with special needs.
4. Feed hungry kids through the Channahon-Minooka School Backpack Program. Nutritious food is discreetly placed into backpacks of kids from low-income families.
5. Help struggling families with utility and rent assistance.
