About the event

Garden Walks - The Lloyd Border Shows Its Strength
It’s a truism in the garden center business that foot traffic slows to a trickle after the busy spring planting season. We experience this phenomenon at WFF and it’s a shame, as our display gardens are designed to deliver a long season of interest. Indeed, our 280’ long Lloyd Border (named after the master English plantsman Christopher Lloyd) looks its beefiest and best in the fall and this Garden Walk, led by White Flower Farm head gardener Cheryl Karpeichik and owner Eliot Wadsworth, will focus on how this border merges long-term cornerstone plantings with short-term nips and tucks. We’ll also have a look at our delightful and extensive Dahlia display and see lots of colorful annuals pushing hard as gardening season enters its home stretch.
