The Northumberland Aquabike sprint & standard distance events attracts a wide range of competitors from all abilities. It is very well suited to beginners and seasoned competitors. 

Sprint Distance: 750m swim & 19km bike.
Standard Distance: 1.5km swim & 38km bike.

The swim will take place in the warm shallow freshwater Ladyburn Lake set within the park grounds. The bike route will take you out of the Country Park along a beautiful coastal route.

Druridge Bay Country Parks is a popular place to cycle, run, swim, walk, paddle, sail, and surf. The country park comprises of a café, Visitors centre, outdoor children’s play area, sheltered picnic areas, dedicated camping, caravanning and motor home facilities for you to enjoy and relax. Perfect for a fun day out, or you could make a weekend of it!
