Earth Day with the BLM at the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve

Celebrate Earth Day with the BLM at the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve for a clean-up event and bird walk!

WHEN: Saturday, April 26, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Please gather in the parking lot at 8 a.m. for assignments)

WHERE: Big Morongo Canyon Preserve (Geographic coordinates: 34.051584, -116.570056)

WHAT: Volunteers will help remove invasive plant species from trails and clean debris. Come prepared with a hat, gloves, long-sleeve shirt, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, and at least two liters of water. Equipment and tools will be provided. After the clean-up, join the BLM on a bird walk to learn about the birds currently residing in the Big Morongo Canyon.
