The event will begin at 1 p.m. at Courthouse Square, which will serve as the staging area for volunteers. Participants will check in, receive safety equipment and assignments, and join cleanup teams led by volunteer coordinators. Cleanup activities will run from approximately 1:45 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Participant check-in opens at 1 p.m., followed by a mandatory safety briefing at 1:30 p.m. The City of Morgantown organizers encourage all participants to arrive on time to receive instructions and be assigned to a cleanup group. Gloves, safety vests, water and other necessary equipment will be provided.

Following the cleanup, volunteers will return to Courthouse Square for refreshments, including water and light snacks.

Project leads and organizers should arrive at noon for event setup and coordination activities.

Participants should wear appropriate clothing for the weather and sturdy, closed-toe shoes, as cleanup activities may involve walking on uneven surfaces, bending, lifting, shoveling, and picking up litter.
