Timmy Mac’s Comics and Games is proud to host the Morganton Comic Con at the Collett Street Rec Center on March 7th 2026. Doors will open for attendees at 10:00 am and the convention will wind down around 5:00 pm. Admission to the show is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (13 and under). Small children (3 and under) get in for free. The main entrance is upstairs in the gym.You can enter downstairs with exact change only.
The Show will be in the Gym upstairs and the Social Hall and Burke room downstairs so definitely check them all out. With 90 tables upstairs in the Gym and 50 more tables in the social hall and 14 in the burke room everyone should find something they will enjoy. We will have some of the best comic book dealers in the Southeast attending so there will be plenty of selection. There will also be a great selection of toys, games, anime, and other collectibles. Some attendees will be dressed up as your favorite characters from comics, movies, and TV shows. Feel free to attend in your favorite costume and take part in the costume contest. There will also be professional cosplayers on hand from the Klingon Assault Group, the 501st Legion, and the Mandalorian Mercs.
There will be lots to see such as replicas from popular TV shows, comics and movies. There will be life-sized replicas of Yoda and Groot
There will be several artists attending including local artist Stacey Fleming and Chris Mcjunkin. Come by and browse their prints and get an autograph. You can get an original sketch or a copy of a sketch from artists on hand.
The Ultimate Experience team will be entertaining attendees and running the costume contest. Costume contest sign up is between 10:30am to 1:30pm and starts at 2pm.entry fee is $3. There will be lots to see and lots of photo opportunities so have your phones ready. It will be a fun-filled day for the entire family so wing by for a good time
