This is a 2-heat race – Saturday evening, Sunday morning.
You are not required to attend both heats. 😊
While this is a race weekend, we always like to ensure there is time to spend supporting and developing Mushers in the sport. So, if you are new, or have some specific things you want to work on with yourself and your team, please reach out and following the racing, we can spend time with you to work through these things.

The most direct route from Brisbane to Warwick is via Cunningham Highway, covering approximately 157 km and taking around 1 hour and 54 minutes.
Alternatively, you could take Warrego Highway, which is a longer route at 188 km, with an estimated travel time of 2 hours and 19 minutes

Race Check in will be open from 3:30pm to 4:00pm. Please ensure you have completed your entry form online prior to the day.
4:00pm Drivers meeting – ALL ENTRANTS
4:30pm Canicross (in daylight)
All other classes commence from 5:30pm (weather permitting) **will require suitable lighting**

What to bring:
- Drinking water for you and your dog 💦💧🥛
- Something to secure your dog (stake out line, secure crate etc)
- Suitable lights for mushing after dark or before day break
- Helmet
- Safety kit
- Scooter, push bike, rig 🛴🚲🛷
- Spare clothes in case it rains 🧦🧥
- Means of collecting and removing your dogs poo 💩
- Wear comfortable clothes and footwear 👟🥾
- Any dog wear you think you will need
VENUE FACILITIES:
This large fantastic shady campsite is located in the south of Warwick
Contains both Powered & Unpowered Camp Sites
Camping Fees - $45.00 per site per night.
(Same cost applies regardless of powered or unpowered site)
A Site is determined by sleeping structure.
Example:
1 Site = 1 x Caravan or 1 x Tent or 1 x Dog trailer (Sleeping in) or 1 x Roof Top Tent
1 x Caravan + 1 x Tent = 2 Sites
2 x Caravan + 1 x Dog trailer (sleeping in) = 3 Sites

Full Toilet and Shower Facilities are available
There are flood lights that provide plenty of lighting to the majority of the campsite at night. A Large communal area with a communal fireplace.
