Zentangle is a mindful art form that allows one to slow down, focus on the moment and create a work of art. As a student in my Introduction to Zentangle class, I will guide you through the easy-to-learn 8 Steps of The Zentangle Method. We’ll put pen to paper, draw simple, structured patterns and create beautiful Zentangle art. Our Tangle Club was invited to display our artwork at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center in the autumn of 2019. These were all special events for local Zentangle artists.I approach Zentangle as a practice. This means that I like to tangle almost every day and I use the philosophy in my life. I read books and magazines, visit websites, follow blogs, experiment with my drawings and discuss the Zentangle art form with fellow tanglers and CZT colleagues. This routine helps me continue to develop and grow as a teacher and an artist.I especially enjoy tinkering in my art studio where I tangle and make Zentangle inspired art.
