Join us for our newest spring hike offering - our Fresh Air & Flowers Hike!This experience is designed for hikers who want to do just that - hike!Unlike our interpretive guided Habitat Protection Hikes, our Fresh Air & Flowers are faster-paced, and geared more toward individuals who enjoy hiking for fitness. These hikes will include minimal stops.Groups must stay together, so please review the hike details below to ensure you are prepared. If you would like to hike independently and are unsure of whether this is a good fit, please hike Wednesday - Friday during open hours, or sign up for an open-access hike day.Specific Hike InformationThese guided hikes include MINIMAL STOPS and groups will STAY TOGETHER. For public safety, rain and red flag warnings will cancel hikes.HIKE DETAILSTime: 11:00 AM - approximately 3:00pm - ~3 milesNote: the end time is an approximation, and will vary on the individual group and hiking speed.Location: Máyyan ‘Ooyákma - Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve located at https://maps.app.goo.gl/hAJ4Ki69KcLLf7RRAMore location details will be sent the week before your hike. Please be sure to check your email.What to expectEach ticket is for ONE PARKING SPACE and as many people as you can safely and legally fit in your vehicle. On these guided hikes visitors will learn about the native wildflower blooms and the rare Bay Checkerspot Butterfly population found within the preserve! This preserve is managed, maintained, and overseen by Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority (OSA), and we're excited to have you join us!To help protect this sensitive and unique ecosystem, in March, April, and May the trails will be open by reservation ONLY on Saturdays and Sundays.
