In Australia, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training is a mandatory requirement for anyone involved in the sale, supply, or service of alcohol. Whether you’re working in a bar, restaurant, nightclub, hotel, at a catered event, on an airline, or even in a security role at a licensed venue — you must hold a valid RSA certificate to work legally.
Likewise, if you're looking to enter the gaming industry, you’ll need to complete the Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG). This certificate is essential for anyone working in venues with gaming machines or gambling facilities, such as pubs, clubs, and casinos. It ensures you understand how to promote responsible gambling practices, how to identify problem gambling behaviours, and how to comply with current laws and venue procedures.
At Foot in the Door Training, we don’t just tick boxes — we focus on real-world skills and knowledge that prepare you for the workplace from day one. We believe that both RSA and RSG training are too important to be left to online learning. That’s why we proudly offer face-to-face, classroom-based training only.
Our interactive, in-person courses are led by experienced trainers who bring the content to life through practical scenarios, group discussions, and real industry insights. You’ll gain a much deeper understanding of your responsibilities — not just to your employer and the law, but to the people you serve.
