# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Create Your Own Ceramic Luminaries Class $45
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 21 Feb, 2026 at 01:00 pm
- **Event Description**: In this fun class taught by Sue Flanders, students will work with pliable clay slabs which can be incised with decorative accents. Then formed into cylinders and finished off with a circular slab for the base.

Time and materials will allow for students to make two luminaries. Lots of flexibility for design, since we are working with wet clay

During the class we will discuss glaze colors and the students will fill out a color card, so the instructor can glaze the luminaries once they have been bisque fired. The vases will be glaze fired and available for pick-up 2 weeks after the class. Class fee of $45 per person includes instruction, all materials, plus one beverage of your choice.
