Heartsworn Films presents A Priest Walks into a Bar, a short film written and directed by Moose Javian filmmaker Timothy Lenko.

"Scandal, grace, and mistaken identity collide when a priest approaches a man day-drinking alone."

Shot on location in Moose Jaw at the beloved Bobby's Place Olde World Tavern, A Priest Walks into a Bar made its world premiere at the 2025 SoHo International Film Festival in New York City.

The film now comes home for its Canadian Premiere at the historic Mae Wilson Theatre – Thursday November 27th at 7:00pm.

Join an evening of celebrating Saskatchewan independent film including a Q&A with the cast and crew.

PLUS enjoy a second panel discussion on how art can include spiritual themes without becoming tilted propaganda for or against any religious group. How do we explore spiritual experiences artfully rather than dogmatically?
