- **Event Description**: When the recent anti-immigration protests happened, a lot of my friends told me they were going to stay home because they didn’t feel safe. That really saddened me. We live in such a vibrant, multicultural community, and I don’t want anyone to feel like they have to hide who they are.

So I’d love to host a Multicultural Gathering at Little Village in Moorooka on Sunday 16th November, from 3pm–7pm. It’ll be an afternoon of food, music, stories and connection — a safe, welcoming space where every culture is celebrated.

This is just a one-off event to start with — if it goes well, we’ll think about making it regular.

I’d love some help to bring it to life. If you’re interested in being part of the organising group — whether that’s music, food, kids’ activities, or just lending a hand — please comment below or message me. I’ll set up a couple of small planning meetings soon.
