Whiskey Class - Scotch

In the world of whiskey, there is no category that carries the weight, the prestige, the cache of Scotch. Viewed as sophisticated, mature, and challenging, it can be a difficult category for some whiskey fans to explore. Whether scared away by overt smokiness, or confused by the regions, styles, and intricacies, the world of Scotch can be intimidating, even to those experienced in other areas of whiskey.

In this class, we will highlight some key aspects of Scotch, and help demystify this lofty spirit. Expect some smoky spirits, but many others with no smoke, but rather sweet and fruity flavors. Some will be in the vaunted category of single malts, while others will extol the virtues of blended. You will have the chance to taste and learn about all sorts of Scotch Whiskey in this informative class!
