For $35 you will, you will receive a bowl of soup from one of our sponsors, Rustica, The Spice Grille, or Fryin’Pan, and bread from Black Cat Bakery.
You will take home an empty handmade ceramic bowl made by one of our many talented local ceramicists as a reminder that many people in our community do not have enough food to fill their bowls.
Jonesey and RGB Lighthouse will be providing music.
All funds raised go to the Dorothy Day Food Pantry as part of Churches United!

Why: To raise funds to help address food insecurity in our community.
Household Food Insecurity: Approximately 20% of Minnesota households, including those in the Fargo-Moorhead area, are classified as food insecure.
Child Hunger: 26% of households with children in Minnesota lack consistent access to food.
Rising Demand: Food shelf visits have increased significantly; 2024 saw nearly 9 million visits, a 1.4 million increase from 2023.
Drivers: Rising food prices, inflation, and the reduction of pandemic-era SNAP benefits have driven these record-high numbers.
