Blue Heron Hundreds
Sign up for the 4th running of the Blue Heron Hundreds and join the siege (a flock of herons). The 50k, 100k, and 100mi will take place on April 11-12, 2026 in Mooresville, AL. The fast and flat crushed gravel and dirt roads provide a relief from the pavement, and give you a chance to run a new 25k loop through Wheeler Wildlife Refuge. Spot herons, egrets, and many more species of birds and enjoy the fields of wildflowers. Overall male/female winners of each distance will win a metal heron, and every finisher will receive a unique medal. In addition, the 100 mile finishers will receive a custom belt buckle.
