- **Event Description**: Last Sunday, the Holy Spirit urged us to put others first in a message titled: Who are You Willing to Become. For those whom God blessed with the ultimate blessing (Salvation), God’s greatest desire of us is to spread His love and grace to others. We do that by being willing to change. The first change is going LOWER. Paul lowered himself to slave status to help others reach saved status. Jesus likewise lowered Himself from Heaven to Earth to accomplish God’s salvation mission. The second change is to LESSEN. Paul lessened himself to relate to people. Paul gave up his titles, authority, and his rights. Jesus did the same! Jesus 
submitted to man’s authority and even death. The last and most important change is to be a LOVER! Paul loved the Gospel and how he experienced God’s love through it. Jesus loved His Father and His Father loved us enough to give us His only Son – JESUS! So, we must be willing to lower ourselves, lessen ourselves and be a lover like no other (Jesus).  Looking ahead to this incredibly special Youth and Christmas Sunday Service, we will experience a message titled:     

Jesus – The Reason for the Season

This Christmas season, many people will gather together and share delicious meals and exchange carefully wrapped gifts. Often, people travel far and wide to get to share their Christmas experience. Those travelers are certainly looking for something special and memorable. 

Well, this Sunday at the Rising, we are going to have something very special and memorable for all those who spend their morning with us.
