We’re excited to officially re-launch EmpowerEd Evenings as our Teen Social Skills Club, designed for neurodivergent teens who benefit from a low-pressure, inclusive social environment.

To kick things off, we’re hosting a dog-themed Grand Re-Opening Night complete with visits from therapy dogs and a hot dog dinner ??

Starting a new program can bring a lot of anxiety for teens and parents, so we intentionally chose to include therapy dogs to promote calm, comfort, and connection during this first night. The goal is a relaxed, welcoming space with no pressure to talk or perform.

• Visits from therapy dogs
• Dog-themed activities and low-key, inclusive games
• Hot dog dinner and snacks
• A relaxed space for teens to hang out their way

This night marks the beginning of an ongoing social skills club focused on connection, confidence, and comfort at each teen’s own pace.
