ACBC Fundamental Biblical Counseling Training

Many Christians feel they aren’t equipped to counsel. Yet, when our brothers and sisters in Christ encounter trials, suffering, and sin, we are called to help them “grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,” by speaking the truth in love.

Church at The Mill has partnered with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) to provide training to equip Christians to minister God’s Word faithfully to those in their lives.

The Fundamentals Training Course is a lecture course on the basics of biblical counseling. Taking this course will give you an introduction to the essential elements of biblical counseling. It’s a great first step in counseling training! It also helps complete the training portion of Phase 1 for those pursuing certification.

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Nicolas Ellen. The 2026 ACBC Fundamentals Training at Church at The Mill will take place over the course of three weekends:
👉 March 13-14, 2026
👉 April 17-18, 2026
👉 May 15-16, 2026
Training takes place from 5:00-9:45 PM on Friday of each weekend and 9:00 AM-5:00 PM each of the Saturday sessions.
