This July, we are delighted to welcome Katie Johnston, reality TV survivor (MAFS), wellness entrepreneur, CEO of EATS HQ, founder of Empowered Empath and passionate advocate for emotional wellbeing, resilience and purpose led living.

Known to many through her public journey following MAFS, Katie has used her experiences to create a life and business grounded in authenticity, wellness, community impact and self-trust. 

Through her work across wellness, hospitality and philanthropy, she brings a refreshingly honest perspective on rebuilding confidence, navigating change and creating a life aligned with your values.

This will be a thoughtful and heartfelt conversation around resilience, reinvention, leadership, wellbeing and the courage it takes to redefine success on your own terms.

The Lionhearted Connect Lunches are intentionally small and curated to allow genuine connection, conversation and community in the stunning private dining room of Bella Venezia, one of the Sunshine Coast’s most awarded and loved dining experiences, known for its exceptional food, warm hospitality and beautiful atmosphere.

WHO IS KATIE JOHNSTON

Katie Johnston is a reality TV survivor (MAFS), wellness entrepreneur, speaker, and social impact advocate passionate about helping people rebuild their health, confidence, and sense of self from the ground up. She is the founder of Empowered Empath, a growing wellness community focused on sustainable health, emotional wellbeing, self-trust, and creating meaningful lifestyle change.

Alongside her work in wellness, Katie has been involved in philanthropic initiatives in Uganda, supporting orphan children, focusing on empowerment, opportunity, and long-term impact.

Her work is deeply grounded in the belief that wellness extends beyond the individual and into the way we support and uplift communities globally.

Katie is also the CEO of EATS HQ, a social enterprise café chain across South East Queensland built around connection, healthy living, and purpose-driven business. Through EATS HQ, she has combined her passion for wellness, hospitality, and community impact to create spaces that encourage both physical nourishment and human connection.

Drawing from her personal experiences, entrepreneurial journey, and work across wellness and social enterprise, Katie speaks openly about resilience, rebuilding after setbacks, purpose-led leadership, and redefining success on your own terms. Known for her authentic storytelling and grounded approach, she inspires audiences to move away from extremes and toward a more empowered, balanced, and values-driven way of living.
