This year is our 5th annual celebration of the season and the love of the outdoors. The very first Spring Fling took place in 2021 on March 20, which happened to be the Vernal Equinox/astronomical beginning of spring/ostara and also World Storytelling Day. This year's festivities we will be commemorating both of those occasions as well as a plethora of other action days taking place during this week including: World Water Day, International Forest Day, World Poetry Day, Global Recycling Day, International Read To Me Day, International Day of Happiness,  World Sparrow Day, World Frog Day, World Rewilding Day, Won't You Be My Neighbor Day, World Meteorological Day, World Bear Day, World Planting Day and many others. 

This wonderful event brings together so many people in the community and the region. Last year's participants led a variety of family-friendly activities, shared lots of information, answered questions and spent time with lots of happy and enthusiastic visitors. 

Join us this year and meet some really great people who enjoy the green earth, blue water and fresh air as much as you do!
Have some early spring fun outside while learning about ways to connect with nature responsibly and protect our environment. We promise you'll learn something and leave with a smile.
