Join East Coast Hikers for a scenic fall adventure at Westmoreland State Park! We’ll explore wooded trails, open meadows, Potomac River overlooks, and the famous Fossil Beach. This is a moderate-paced group hike with plenty of opportunities for photos, fresh air, and enjoying the fall colors.

🥾 Turkey Neck Trail – 2.5 miles
🥾 Beach Trail – 0.7 miles (one way)
🥾 Additional shoreline walking at Fossil Beach (optional)

🐕 Dogs are welcome on leash and must be able to keep pace with the group.

🚻 Restrooms available at the Visitor Center.

💲 Virginia State Park parking fee: $10 per vehicle.

🚗 Drive time from Virginia Beach: approximately 2.5 hours each way.

📵 Cell service can be limited in parts of the park. Please download directions before leaving home.
