The last Kinnaber Junction gig at Montrose Playhouse was a very special night, as ” Mr. Kinnaber “, Gary Anderson, celebrated forty years of live gigs and songwriting to coincide with the fortieth anniversary of Montrose Folk Club. As the musical vehicle of Montrose Singer Songwriter, Gary Anderson, a concert by Kinnaber Junction always promises two sets full of different genres and styles, mixing songs written by Gary himself, over his forty year songwriting career, with complementary covers.

Kinnaber Junction are set apart from other bands, on account of there being no fixed line-up;  the band have appeared at Montrose Folk Club in many different formats over the years. The band this time around are Gary Anderson ( vocals, bass ) joined by Nick Jolly ( drums ), Tom Ward ( guitar, piano/keys ), Lynne Anderson ( backing vocals ), Graham Matthew ( acoustic guitar ) and, for the first time, Rachel Watson ( saxophone ).

Admission is £12.50, payable in cash at the door, or tickets can be purchased beforehand by emailing brucekenneth130@gmail.com.
