Formed in Marseilles, Martin Dupont were one of France’s defining cold wave bands in the ’80s. Establishing a surrealist sound using futuristic synths across three albums, they disbanded at the end of the decade, reuniting for their first US tour in 2023 (over 30 years since their split), after having their songs sampled by Tricky and Madlib.
